2021 FALL SEASON - QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

HOW DO I GET MY CREDIT FOR 2020?
If you did not play with us during Spring 2021, and you paid full registration in 2020 you will see your “available credit” when you sign online to our registration portal.  Look at your account, scroll down and you should see “available credit”.

WE ARE NOT COMFORTABLE WITH PLAYING THIS SEASON ---DO WE LOSE OUR “AVAILABLE CREDIT”?
Your “available credit” was available to use in Spring or Fall season of 2021.  If you choose not to play with the League in 2021, you will forfeit your “available credit”.

DOES MY PLAYER NEED TO TRY OUT?
No. All players who register and pay in full by August 21st will be placed on a team.

WHEN DOES THE SEASON START?
Teams are selected on August 28. 
You will receive a call by August 31 to inform you what team your players has been placed on. Teams will begin practicing. 
Games start on Saturday, September 18th.

WHEN ARE THE GAMES PLAYED? 
Expect 
to play on most Saturdays, and usually a weekday game.

WHERE ARE THE GAMES PLAYED?
Morrison Park on Dracaea Ave. (across the street from Valley View High School)

WHERE ARE PRACTICES HELD?
Normally at a ball field within the City of Moreno Valley.  The manager selects what field to practice at, based on availability.  Currently, all school fields are closed. 

HOW MANY GAMES WILL WE PLAY?
Expect to play 10 – 12 games this season.  Currently this is unknown. It is based on number of sign ups in a division, weather, and field availability. 

 
WHAT DOES MY REGISTRATION FEE COVER?
Jersey & 
hat (visors for softball). The team will select pants, belt, socks, and is paid by parents.
Your 
registration also covers umpires, league insurance, registration with PONY Baseball & Softball, 2 practice field times/per team, practice balls, game balls, field equipment, field maintenance, fields & lights for games, background checks for all adults associated with teams (Manager, Coaches, Official Team Rep), end of the season trophies and awards, snack bar equipment, storage bins, web site, scheduling app, other fee-paid apps used by the league, scoresheets, stationery and printing supplies, and other necessary supplies required to run the league.

WHO ARE THE MANAGERS?
Currently unknown.  It depends on who signs up to manager, and how many teams we have in each division. Are you interested in being a manager? If you have an interest, be sure to check the "volunteer" when signing up your player, or call our League Secretary, Wendy Harred at 951-413-4932 for more information.

MANAGER OPTIONS
Each manager is allowed maximum 4 options.  All other players will be divided between the teams (blind draft).
